When skin feels dry, rough, tight, or relentlessly itchy, sometimes simple is best. The White Cottage Soothing Skin Salve is a rich, small-batch botanical salve thoughtfully formulated to moisturize, soften, and provide comforting protection for sensitive, easily irritated skin.

Created especially with very dry, itchy and eczema-prone skin in mind, this salve combines calendula-, plantain-, and chamomile-infused jojoba oil with beeswax, colloidal oatmeal, lavender essential oil, Roman chamomile essential oil, and vitamin E.

The result is a concentrated, water-free salve that melts into the skin, helping replenish moisture and leave behind a protective layer that reduces the dry, tight feeling that can make already-sensitive skin feel uncomfortable.

Because this is a concentrated salve, a little goes a long way.

Ingredients: Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil, Cera Alba, Avena Sativa Kernel Flour, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Plantago Major Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil, Tocopherol.

Directions: Using clean, dry fingers, scoop out a small amount and gently massage onto clean, dry skin until absorbed.

For especially dry or itchy-feeling areas, apply a slightly thicker layer and allow the salve to remain on the skin as a protective moisturizing barrier.

Use as needed throughout the day. For very dry areas, apply after bathing or showering while the skin is still slightly damp to help seal in moisture.

A little goes a long way.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to open, bleeding, infected or severely damaged skin. Discontinue use if irritation, redness, burning or sensitivity occurs.

Patch test before first use, particularly on sensitive or reactive skin.
